This group was formed in 1981 to promote the male chorus repertoire beyond the college walls. They have toured such places as Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, The White House, Carnegie Hall, the National Cathedral in Washington, and St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. The Palmetto Mastersingers are directed by Dr. Walter Cuttino of the University of South Carolina.
