This is a special concert performance of the Great American Song Book, Broadway and light Jazz featuring nationally known singer and actress Connie James, a Columbia native who attended USC. She has toured with comedian Bob Newhart, starred in a one-woman show, "Fever: A Tribute to Peggy Lee," has acted in several independent films and on TV series such as "Law & Order." Other guests are Dick Goodwin Jazz Ensemble, the Sandlapper Singers and Sandlapper Singer Orchestra.
