Patchworks of History: The Quilts of Historic Columbia Foundation
Patchworks of History: The Quilts of Historic Columbia Foundation will be on display from Friday, January 25 through Sunday, March 27 within the Robert Mills House.
This much-anticipated temporary show highlights some of the Foundation’s handmade works of art, featuring brilliant colors and patterns. These 19th-century treasures illustrate the craftsmanship of their makers as well as the availability of domestic and imported fabrics within our state during the 1820s through 1880s.
