On Air in South Carolina: Preserving Radio & Television History  - For almost thirty years, McKissick has hosted and maintained the archives of the South Carolina Broadcasters Association, a valuable, yet underutilized, scholarly resource. Including photographs, letters, video, and audio recordings, On Air in South Carolina introduces the history of radio and television broadcasting in South Carolina, while also showcasing the holdings of the SCBA Archives. The exhibition not only reveals the changing trends in broadcasting over the past century, but also features those significant local stations and individual broadcasters who became industry leaders and pioneers.

Richard Burnside: Who is King?  - Featuring the work of Pendleton-based painter Richard Burnside, the exhibition will be the artist's first museum retrospective, presenting the full scope of his artwork from his earliest works on paper in the 1980s to his most recent paintings. Richard Burnside: Who is King? incorporates over fifty paintings, drawings, mixed media artworks, and interviews conducted with the artist, his friends, and others who collect his work. The exhibition explores Burnside's stylistic development, the relationship between the artist and his community, as well as the significance of the kings and queens that populate his most celebrated artwork.
